Apple iPAD Event: 10am PST March 2, 2011

After months of speculations of what would the iPad2 be like, finally Apple announced the much awaited iPad2 release. I was actually waiting for this tech goodie because I wanted to use it for my board. I was planning on making it as a notebook/searcher/entertainment while listening to a 6hr lecture (i would be sleepy so i need something to wake my senses up). But i heard about iPad2 to be released in March and so i waited....


So what's the difference between iPad and iPad2?

♠As you can see there's a common BLACK and the new WHITE version.
♠With A5 dual-core processor making it faster

♠ 33% thinner (13.44mm to 8.8mm)
and 1.5lbs to 1.3lbs.

♠ 10hr battery life while working (depends on usage) and a month for standby.

♠ Has 65,000 application

♠ Application
(Photobooth and Garageband)

♠ HDMI video out (output: 1080p) connects to TV, projectors, etc.

♠ "Smart Covers" 5 polyurethane & 5 leather cover with colors to choose from. Open it for activity and close it for standby/sleep. Can also be used as a dock.

♠ Facetime application can be used for conference, meetings, etc. Can switch from rear to front camera while facetiming.
♠ With microphone and built-in speakers.

♠ Price stays the same or alike as the iPad launch. Available in Wi-fi and Wi-fi + 3G models with 16, 32 and 64 GB.

I was liveblogging with CNET (source:pictures). They are really fast in liveblogging together with the pics making it real time (10am PST - 2am GMT) wew! i really did wait for that but im used to sleeping late xD

My view: I want to buy this, i think it's really worth the money and i know that Apple products are likely to break or anything. I really don't care much unlike others who are babbling about the lack of "FLASH" in this stuff and having no SD.... Oh! C'mon... What would you do in all that memory? 64GB is way too much already of a memory (for me). Are you going to build something out of that, that you need a lot of memory? And if Apple decided to put "FLASH", mind you that "flash" is downloadable (o.O) so i guess you could download it from the site then and do an upgrade. Well that's it for now!
