Whenever I see they do this, there's a feeling of happiness inside me that makes me want to support these kind of things. Like, c'mon who wouldn't want to support this kind of helping?! San San Nail Polish: Tea Rose

Ok! So I haven't been able to blog because of school but now it's okay and yeah enough with that... I was doing some errands and came across this nail polish, just the thought that it sounded like the shade of let's say, the NYX lipstick and cream blush tea rose. I personally love the shade tea rose, because it's like subtle pink that can look natural and can be use for every day. Well, this nail polish is also one of those.

This is the nearest that i could show you so that the camera will pick up the color better since from afar it's not because it's very very light, like a milky-baby pink.

Pros:

♣ can be use for everyday

♣ locally available

♣ affordable (P37-39 i actually forgot and lost the receipt but w/in that range or $0.85-$0.90)

Cons:

♣ i have tried their other nail polish and it chips off like after 3 days

♣ sheer (this formula, but others are not. It depends i guess)

I like to try the other shades, I have the cloudy gray which I will  be posting next. But I like to try the warm sand or tan something between those shades, so I will have to return to the store to buy.

Too busy

Lately, i've been busy preparing for my board exam... I won't be able to update my blog but maybe i can post this coming Holy Week. I've been hauling this past few days so i will post a collective haul but will categorize them by brand so that it would be easier... Hope i can catch up with the new items that are recently being released, but it will be harder for me especially if the item/s is/are not available locally as I will have to buy them online and wait patiently for a month for it to arrive... In other words, there will be something new coming out before i get my hands on it. Bummer! :( 

So excited to share my hauls! Even though Im sooooooooooooooooooooo (oh yeaaahh...) late about those items!! LOL! Well, who cares?! :D

My TRAIN CASE! ♥

   Im no MUA but i too dreamed of having a train case one day where i could organize all my make-up stuffs. It's a dream come true when i already saved up and be able to purchase a train case already. I looked online for it and do some canvassing before purchasing. Like which one is bigger, pricey, affordable and all that sort of stuffs.Others are much affordable but the size is too small or a little bit smaller by 4-5cm but doesn't have enough features like organizing or separating one from the other and sometimes palettes don't fit in. You know that sort of stuffs that you have to look for to be able to say that "this is it! this is what i'm looking for!"  Finally i have decided to purchase this one...

See... I wanted my stuffs to be organized very well, so i picked out a train case that has many compartments and organizing stuffs separating them from each other. And boy, was i surprised when this arrived for it is huge! and also heavy! But it also comes with a trolley that you can remove and put it back again. I was worried that it might be too large but when i put my stuffs in actually it isn't quite enough... lol! :D

Honestly... Do i need to review or do you need my point of view on these lovely brushes?... I think not! :D It was highly raved for the longest time and you should know why these beauties are still on it!

I heart this one not only because of the packaging but it is travel-friendly, convenient than bringing along those handled brush and it doesn't take up much space in your beauty kit/pouch.

Very dense, soft does not bleed and shed off. But takes too long to dry. They are love indeed! Wanting to try their brush kit!!

Well i think not a dupe but may be as sisters. NARS Orgasm is on the corally side while the NYX Menage A Trois is on the peachy side. I also purchased NYX BLL in Diva. When i opened it, I immediately thought that it was like NYX RLS Thalia which i also bought as a backup because i love it! ♥

Well i just thought! Thalia is like mauve-ish as you can see on the pic. I wanted to try NYX HD foundation and their grinding powder next time!

MUFE Haul

MUFE Duo Mat Powder and MUFE Mat velvet plus foundation

Both of them has a medium to full coverage. It does mattify the face. When i wore this liquid foundation then set it with the duo mat, i only blot 1-2x the whole day on my T-zone. Very nice indeed! I'll definitely recommend this if you're oily!

NYX Haul

NYX Cosmetics has been popular because if it's affordable value and you get to choose their generous and very wide range of colors from their round lipstick line. But how can you resist to try them all when you can get one in such an affordable cost. Well, I obviously did not go crazy on picking out colors, why? Because even if they are affordable, they won't really last on your lips the whole day so you'll find yourself re-applying throughout the day.

Jumbo Lip Pencil - Iced Coffee
Jumbo Eye Pencil - Milk

I love these both! The lip pencil is a natural nude color, you can tame hot pink lipstick with this one (well, for me it did). The jumbo eye pencil in milk - I use this as an eyeshadow base and way to brighten up my eye area. I dab it under the eyes, inner corners, and brow bone then put an unnoticeable amount of matte white eyeshadow for under my eyes then set it - instant bright eyes!

Narcissus, Paris, Tea Rose, Power

I also have thalia and strawberry milk. I wish I could provide pics on how it looks on my lips but unfortunately my camera won't focus. boo!~ I personally heart the all-time favorite thalia and paris.

NYX Soft matte lip cream in Milan and Istanbul

Its really a lipstick... like a melted lipstick put inside a tube with a wand applicator (haha!) really!... But I find these easy to maneuver on your lips, but may want to condition lips first... well anything "matte" in the title means conditioning or priming before applying ( a rhyme! :D) owwkaayy now...

NYX Megashine lipgloss in smokey look

 Well, i bought it to top it off with my soft matte lipcreams... And from the name itself, you may want to pair it off with a smoky eye... :p

I honestly wanted the pink pouch only but they are not for retail, you can get them free by buying their products worth P1500 with any princess collection. I am addicted to buying Etude House products ever since i became curious of their line and it was raved about here in the net so might as well try them out. It's a plus that some of their items are very affordable but other items are not w/c disappointed me a little because i wanted to try like all products especially the skincare line but it was just pricey (so-so). I wanted to look for skincare products that would be of my HG just as looking for a HG foundation and concealer. Up until now i haven't find one yet :( and I am determined now to put myself a notch higher since my search for drugstore products is an absolute failure! Now i am thinking of trying MAC and/or Makeup Forever. If i found one, although pricey, i will gladly save up just to buy another bottle/tube.


What can you recommend? What's your HG foundation/concealer?

Mini Haul: Wet n Wild and Revlon

Of course the make-up gurus in YouTube made me buy these and it was highly raved  by them so i decided to try them out. I did not get the Pride palette as i don't wear blue eyeshadows or anything alike so i passed on that. But these are very pigmented and has 3 matte and 3 shimmers. You could just grab one palette and your ready to go.

Swatches:

The nude attitude is kinda peachy and it washes me out but i put pink tint on top of it to make it wearable on me. The pink pout is my favorite, not too pink and not too sheer, just right. And they say it looks good on me too. Fleshtone is true to its name, i find it on my lips natural but not so nude, a bit on the coral side, just like the color of lips if sheerly applied. I dab the lipstick so as to slowly build the color and it would look just like lips, so natural and maybe others won't notice it much.

I also have sassy mauve (lustrous) and blush (colorburst). Sassy mauve can be on the same shade as NYX Thalia (RLS)

What other Revlon lipsticks do you recommend?

Etude House: Lip and Eye Remover and Eye Contour Brush

In the previous post that i made Urban Decay Naked Palette, I did some swatching of my UD Naked Palette. I use the Etude House Eye Contour Brush for applying the eyeshadows.

I use brush because when i use my finger/s, it warms up the eyeshadow making it more pigmented and find that it defeats the purpose of swatching. I use brush to do swatching so that you'll know how pigmented the eyeshadows are just by itself. And after that i use Etude House Lip & Eye Remover to remove the swatches on my hand.

This does a very decent job in removing make-up even waterproof mascara ( I use Maybelline Lash Stilleto). You have to shake the bottle upon dispensing the product so that the blue (top) and white/clear (bottom) will mix up (oil).

Naked Palette and Swatches

Urban Decay Naked Palette

These Naked Palette really is a good-buy! This is a good investment plus you can't go wrong with neutrals. I have been a neutral make-up lover ever since i got this baby on my hands. I still play with colors but i find that i reach for this palette always. It's light-weight, and all you need to do your eye make-up is right here in this palette. But i was disappointed when Urban Decay released this palette with a brush instead of a dual-liner, I would personally buy one just for the eyeshadows but not for the brush. The brush could turn out great and all but brushes are easily found, i mean you could use all sort of brushes you want may it be affordable ones to the high-quality ones.


I love the UDPP! I used it around 10am, I went to Manila then stroll around Morayta, then went to window shop in Greenhills (actually, i was looking for something then after about 5 rounds inside swear! i got disappointed only to find out that what i'm looking for was exclusive only for x'mas season T_T) so i was perspiring and all. After that i went to Megamall and do some shopping there. Then got home around 9pm, and surprisingly my eye make-up did not crease at all!! I have a very oily skin and finding this stuff that works great for me is a must-have. The eyeliner stays well too, but i find it that it depends on how you apply the liner  will it stays (you have to let it dry up first) to get that 24/7 eyeliner it claims.

Etude House Haul

Silky cotton pad, lip & eye remover, yogurt peel, surprise essence concealer, lip liner,
eye contour brush, BB Cake, Mini size U pore trial set (freebie)

This is my first ETUDE HOUSE products, i decided to try them out since i like Korean, especially their skin. They are so flawless to look at and they can go well with simple make-up (shimmery eyeshadow, eyeliner, false lashes(optional), blush and lipstick) and still look great.


I bought silky cotton pad to go with my lip and eye make-up remover. 


Yogurt peel in fruity mix, this is a good cleansing foam and been using it for 2 weeks now. 


Lip liner in #2 i believe this is pink beige, i love it that i will get backup of this and the other available colors to try.


Surprise Essence Concealer in light, unfortunately i hate this concealer, i find it cakey and hard to blend with my foundation.


BB Cake, i like it but don't love it. It's like a cream to powder sort of thing and i find it drying on my skin as it will look flaky on me, but what i'll do is add a little bit of water then it will turn out to be ok. It adjust to your own skin tone so don't freak out when you find it too light on you. (Or, is it just me because i'm acidic?)


Eye contour brush, this is a great brush. it works well in my crease and packing eyeshadows in my lid. It's like a multi-brush for me. Affordable alternative for brushes!


And i got the mini size u-pore set trial pack. And it did minimize my pores a little bit but i think i need to finish up the product before finalizing. And of course got my pink membership card afterwards that will give you a 2% rebate for items purchased (p100).

My view: I want to buy this, i think it's really worth the money and i know that Apple products are likely to break or anything. I really don't care much unlike others who are babbling about the lack of "FLASH" in this stuff and having no SD.... Oh! C'mon... What would you do in all that memory? 64GB is way too much already of a memory (for me). Are you going to build something out of that, that you need a lot of memory? And if Apple decided to put "FLASH", mind you that "flash" is downloadable (o.O) so i guess you could download it from the site then and do an upgrade. Well that's it for now!
